abilities/powers: Magical abilities include; flying, brewing potions, transfiguration, charms, herbology, defence against the dark arts and parseltongue. He's only a first year at Hogwarts so his magic isn't that advanced, especially with his wand. His flying and potions abilities are much higher though.
